44th Annual American Indian Council Powwow

March 29 @ 3:00 pm at MSU Bozeman
Free Admission.
Powwows are an important contemporary expression of American Indian heritage featuring traditional dancing, drumming, singing, traditional foods, arts, and crafts. MSU-Bozeman’s annual powwow offers both social dancing, in which anyone may participate, along with contest or competition dancing for money prizes. Powwow activities are social and recreational, but many events also have deeper spiritual and religious significance. The events also offer education and information about Native cultures.
