Roots 2 A Sovereign Nation Food Summit
August 15, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 4:00 pm at Billings Depot
The Rocky Mountain Tribal Leaders Council hosts the continuance of last year’s food sovereignty summit. Two days of learning and cultural celebration includes topics on nutrition and cancer, farm to school, food as medicine, Tribal food codes, and much more. The summit will be followed by a traditional and contemporary food tasting.
