Roots of a Sovereign Nation

The Rocky Mountain Tribal Leaders Council has joined forces with the Native American Development Corporation and Blackfeet Agriculture Resource Management Plan to host a Food Summit. “Roots of a Sovereign Nation” will discuss traditional foods, historical trauma, economic development, and health literacy. An opportunity to discuss culturally appropriate food options, water rights / hunting rights / land access, farmers’ markets, and the relationship between tribal, local, state, and federal governments in regards to regulations on food production. $199
