Senior High Fall Play, Gossamer

December 7 @ 6:30 pm at Billings Senior High School

Billings Senior High’s Bronc Drama, in partnership with CASA of Yellowstone County, is excited to present its Fall Play, Gossamer, by Newbery Award winning author Lois Lowry.

Gossamer tells the story of a young boy in foster care, after being removed from an abusive home. Many plot-lines intertwine to tell his story: building new relationships with his foster mother and her dog, his mother’s journey to recovery, and the important responsibility of his dream-giver, Littlest One, who works tirelessly to protect him from the nightmares that attack him night after night. This is above all, an imaginative and heartwarming story of resiliency.

Gossamer is presented under the direction of Katie Rehberg. Please join us Friday, Dec. 7th and Saturday,  Dec. 8th at 6:30 PM in the Billings Senior High Auditorium. $8 for adults and $6 for students, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting CASA of Yellowstone County, whose mission is to advocate for a safe and permanent home for abused and neglected children in Yellowstone County.

*While we believe the message of this production is important for all to hear, it is also necessary for parents to consider the context of this story when deciding whether to bring young children.
